Live from the headquarter!

Right now am I reforming the United Nations Security Council, all propositions about a new Council can be e-mailed to me, but remember, I have veto!

Okay, it´s not really that hard core. It´s just our home exam but maybe I am reforming the Security Council one day.

What am I sinking about? -Probably the reformation....

Is this a class in International Law or Acting?

This morning I had a flight to Den Haag and the International Court of Justice.
If you are important, you are!

Even if I wish, it´s not really the true story. The true story is that our class today played a Moot Court simulating the International Court of Justice. Everyone was dressed up, Madame President was running around in high heels and we all rise in front of the Court.

I was representing Nicaragua in a case against where the United States of America is guilty to military and paramilitary activities in Nicaragua. I and my dear colleagues won the case, exactly as in 1984 when it was brought to the International Court of Justice.

GOD DARWIN BLESS NICARAGUA!

Jag drömmer om en vit jul!

This one is for Bente, because she thinks I blog to little...

I don´t know what she means?!

International löööw (read law)

Right now am I taking a course in International Law.

Today we ended up talking about different religions and their believes, and that Greece philosophers are much better than the ones from Italy.

And of course other things and other things.

An amazing course, can´t wait till it´s over!

The Periodic Table

I just became the happiest girl in the world for a moment!

I found one internet store where you can buy a shower curtain with the Periodic Table on, just like the one Sheldon and Leonard have in "The Big Bang Theory".

It´s so on my wishlist!

For my own best!

Okay, I don´t have the guts to not blog any longer because then I know some roommates would take drastic actions to make me blog so I take the safe path before the unsafe one and give you all a post!

The thing is, I just don´t know what to write…

Of course I can write the normal things like that the weather is horrible and time is flying, but that’s already things that you all know and wouldn´t make your lives more interesting or put a smile on your faces.

But maybe I can share some facts with you that you didn´t know, for example is it 33 days to Christmas eve and in less than a week is it the first advent. But as the swede I am, I have to tell you about the weather.

The ground is still bare, green grass and no snow as far as my eye can reach.
Darwin, please give us some snow!

One is smiling to the camera, one is climbing in a pile of snow. I think you can say who the sophisticated one of us is!

An evening through the eyes of a cow!

Last Friday had me and my class a theme dinner with the theme “I”. That meant that everyone dressed up to something starting on the letter i. Among us could you find ice-princesses, native Indians and IKEA.

I dressed up to a ruminant, idisslare in Swedish, but to make it easy, I dressed up to a cow. And I also had a little info-paper about ruminants with me the whole evening, so if you want to now something about a ruminant, just ask me!

"Cows are ruminants!" was my statement for the evening!

Oostenrijk, kijk uit!

I haven´t told you but I have invested in some tickets to Austria and a certain Gloria Malin over New Year’s. Or to be more precise, so far I just have tickets to Germany but the plan is to arrive at the train station in Feldkirch the 30th of December.

Today is it just 50 days until that will happen, and to celebrate that I will share a beautiful picture of us two on our favourite spot in our dutch house.

Give me!

The greenhouse effect is nothing for me, I want winter and snow!

...at least we tried!

This weekend me, Malin and Bente tried to make Macarones, the French little almond cake, but it was with emphasis on tired.

Our first try looked like this, but I can promise you that is was tasty!

But it got better with time, in the end of the afternoon we managed to create those “macarones-look-a-like” with taste of raspberry.

So, we learned that macarons isn´t so easy at it looks but it´s just to give it one more try, hopefully the story ends better next time!

Life´s hard sometimes, but be happy for what you got
